Summit Landscapes – Sandstone Patio & Raised Beds

Summit Landscapes re-landscaped this client’s back and front gardens with a Sandstone patio and raised beds in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire.

Sandstone Patio

We began digging out soil and levelling the part of the lawn that meets the patio to create a step. We then paved a large 70m² semi-circular patio with Indian Sandstone slabs and built two clean white raised beds. This was to create a retaining edge to separate the patio from the lawn. A 15cm gravel border was also set all the way around the patio.

In the front garden, we built two raised beds using high-quality timber sleepers around the base of two large trees and extended the existing gravel driveway.
